A Liberal Called Me A Nazi
Name-Calling: The Hallmark of Progressives
Having published over 900 thoughtfully-written articles on this venerable site, I sometimes struggle for original topics. I've addressed just about everything reasonably important, from grilled cheese sandwiches to Tom Cruise movies.
Along with my original publishments I thoughtfully contribute to articles written by other sentient humans and some liberals. Long into the early evening I toil. Composing concise yet cogent comments requires time away from my doctoral dissertation. I don't mind the sacrifice because the Greater Good is served.
Recently I engaged a particularly needy liberal. I'm always prepared to intercede between reality and Progressive thought.
Bernie Sanders' recent popularity causes mass confusion among the poorly informed. Evidently unless history takes place via The Daily Show then it didn't happen. Context is constrained to what can be replayed on NetFlix. Communism failed in real-life but renaming it to Democratic Socialism makes it popular again. When your Democratic front-runner lurches one step ahead of the FBI, a hypocritical pseudo-socialist from New England looks really good.
Hoisted by Their Own Private Petards
Verbal spankings aside, I do understand that free speech is a government concept and does not apply here. Authors may elect to delete my comments on their hubs. I am OK with that.
When deleted elsewhere, I am inspired to cough up over 700 words of my own. I'm fizzing over with a swirling vortex of logical thought. My mind is aglow with whirling, transient nodes of thought, careening through a cosmic vapor of invention1. You're welcome.
I am in good company.
The Hypocrisy of Bernie
Bernie Sanders campaigned as an "Independent," which is not a political party. "Independent" is simply a license to to whatever he wants. And he does. We can all agree he's independent of logic and historical significance. Beyond that, he's a far-left Democrat.
The guy yearns for avowed Democrats to pick him as their presidential candidate. He plans to attend so-called debates where he and other mossbacked Dems will promise to make our lives perfect again.
Bernie calls himself a Democratic Socialist, which is a political term for oxymoron. Socialism proscribes redistribution of wealth. Prepending 'Democratic' to Socialist implies that we peons will vote on who gets gigged. I vote for everyone else but me. Like every other candidate in both major parties, Bernie campaigns as if the US Constitution is merely a suggestion. He promises to make us all equal and get the crabgrass out of our yards. I vote for turf fescue.
Hypocrisy Deepens
Bernie Sanders also trundles about the country stewing over Minimum Wages. Given that he lives in the back pocket of Big Union, this is no surprise to anyone above a 12th grade reading level who can turn off MSNBC long enough to think for themselves. Oddly enough, Congressman Sanders pays his interns less than he says we should pay everyone else.

What about the border?
A true socialist would throw open our borders. Everyone would be welcome to slop at the deficit trough. Bernie, on the other hand, advocates keeping people out. His allegiance to Big Union shines through yet again.
Personally, I agree with him on this point. We hold similar viewpoints for different reasons, so that makes me heartless I suppose.
Am I a Nazi?
At the risk of giving any credence whatsoever to this libelous slander, no. I am not a Nazi. Nazis, comprised the National Socialist party. Someone else comes to mind.
Free-thinking humans are blessed with the ability to self-direct. They eschew beseeching government to redistribute wealth to them. They understand that free health care is a myth and giving able-bodied people free governmental stuff only makes society weaker.
- A Liberal Called me a Troll
This media-rich hub chronicles my struggles to help Liberals come to terms with their lack of understanding of social issues and politics and this is a run-on sentence.
Take this handy Democratic Poll.
Is nicomp a Nazi?
